By subscribing to « Carré Neige » you become a member of the Savoie Ski Performances underwriting association, which supports Savoie skiers and participates in the training of champions.
It covers : cost of search and rescue, refund of ski pass + ski lessons in case of accident.

GOOD TO KNOW : RESCUE ON THE SLOPES IS NOT FREE!
For example: the cost of rescue for a knee sprain with evacuation by sledge to the Valmorel doctor’s surgery is around 600 €. We therefore advise you to take out Carré Neige insurance when you buy your skipass to avoid having to pay these costs in advance.
Additional Information
- Usage of any skipass purchased online from skipass,valmorel.com must commence from one the following Valmorel lifts : Planchamp, Combelouvière, Celliers, Lanchettes, Le Rocher et Pierrafort. Skipasses
are personal and cannot be lent or given away, even to a family member.
- We offer free skipasses for children aged up to and including 4 years, and for senior citizens aged 75 or over; their age on the first day of validity of the skipass. For children under 5 years old, the pass will be issued for a maximum duration until the day before the 5th birthday. These free skiasses can be obtained from the skipass offices on presentation of proof of age and an ID card for skipasses of 3 days or more duration.
- A returnable deposit of €3 per skipass is payable for the recyclable cards, which will be refunded at the end of the holiday by the skipass offices, and partner merchants in the resort
- Proof of identity will be required for all free or reduced-price passes:
– Students (post-baccalaureate) = presentation of student card.– Disabled persons = skipass issued only in the lift pass offices and on presentation of the “CMI Invalidité” disability card or the 80% orange card.
- Dogs are allowed on the ONLY ski lifts accessible to pedestrians (Lanchettes, Mottet, Pierrafort, Planchamp, Celliers & Combelouvière) provided they are muzzled and harnessed.
